It's been some time since I've posted some photos here. Thought I'd share some of my later captures with the group: The photos below of the Asian Glossy Starling (Immature) were taken with the Canon EOS 7DMk2 paired with the Sigma 150-600 Sports Lens. Settings were : @600 mm; 1/1000; f/6.3; ISO 3200; Tripod and Gimbal; No Flash; Natural Lighting: Asian Glossy Starling2 by Grandpa@50, on Flickr Asian Glossy Starling by Grandpa@50, on Flickr A Red-keeled Flowerpecker captured using the EOS 650D attached to the Sigma 150-600: @600 mm; 1/320; f/6.3; ISO 800; Tripod and Gimbal; No Flash; Natural Lighting: Red-Keeled @ Tabor by Grandpa@50, on Flickr Same set-up with a Javan Pond Heron: @600 mm; 1/1000; f/6.3; ISO 160; Tripod and Gimbal; No Flash; Natural Lighting: Javan Pond heron with a Meal by Grandpa@50, on Flickr The 7D2's AF, when coupled with the venerable EF-400mm f/5.6L Lens, makes BIF Shooting even more fun! Using my own custom settings in Case 4; 1/2000; f/5.6; ISO 400 (Auto); Handheld, no flash: Collared Kingfisher In Flight by Grandpa@50, on Flickr Collared Kingfisher in Flight by Grandpa@50, on Flickr Gotcha! Hope I didn't bore you guys too much with my "common birds" - but we take what we can :-) God bless ya'll! Bobby K.
