I haven't touched my birding gear for a while due to heavy non-photography activities, but this early morning's light was so sweet to resist. I mounted my venerable handholding glass to the 5D3 and went looking for BIFs to practice on.

Wow, beautiful capture of Red Turtle Dove, Romy.very nice to see your picture, like soft lighting shot in the morning. I know this Dove fly very first, maybe use Romys magic!!

This bird appeared suddenly and I only had a few seconds to acquire it in the viewfinder. The 5D3's wider angle of view (as compared to the crop cameras) made acquisition easier.

Hehehe, you still have the touch of the Ka Mastah, Ka Romy!! Exposure is spot on with shadow detail ... Wow! Hope you will soon have more time shoot those amazing photos that have earned you world renown as one of this planets best wild bird photographers!
