Well, with 35 lbs of excess baggage gone from all over my old body, it's much easier for me now to get down and crawl on the grass to take low level shots.
Paddyfield Pipit (Anthus rufulus, resident, formerly called Richard's Pipit) Shooting Info - Talogtog, San Juan, La Union, November 1, 2014, Canon 5D MIII + EF 500 f4 L IS + EF 1.4x TC II, 700 mm, f/6.3, ISO 640, 1/1250 sec, manual exposure in available light, hand held.
And a documentary capture of an interesting raptor..... will go back to the area today to check if it's still around.

Wowowow on the low level shot! If I did this i won't be able to get up anymore. LOL
Both shots are perfect - standards by which all other bird photos are judged.

Thanks, William, Tateo and Bob! I went back the following day to check if the falcon came back, it was a no show.

Any more shots of the falcon Romy? It doesn't look quite right for a Peregrine to me.

Here's one in flight: Peregrine Falcon ( Falco peregrinus) Shooting Info - Talogtog, San Juan, La Union, November 1, 2014, Canon 1D MIV + EF 500 f4 L IS + EF 1.4x TC II, 700 mm, f/7.1, ISO 400, 1/1600 sec, manual exposure in available light, 475B/516 support.
