I took this shot in Orlando , Florida when the sun is about to set then after few minutes I lost the light. At first I the bird was a Whimbrel. Limpkin1/ 400sec , F 7.1 , ISO640 , Evaluative Metering , Manual Exposure in Sunset Canon 5D III , EF-400 mm 5.6L , Handheld

Too bad we missed this bird in Florida. Nice warm colors, DocBoy! Was this at sunset? Other great birding places are in Southeast Arizona and in Texas (Lower Rio Grande Valley in the south and High Island near Houston in the northeast).

I had difficulty in shooting due to it was back lighted. I have to wait for the bird to be in certain position.

WOW good thing you were still able to take a photo of it Boymac. Is this a lifer for you? Haven't seen this bird ever !
I'd take a shot like this anytime :-) You did a great job in spite of the conditions.
