WOW, I can only hope to take silvery kingfisher shots like these one day :-) They are in tight spaces but that is how you can get to see them. There are times that they move closer to me, less than 6 meters and I cannot take a shot because it is below the minimum focussing distance. I just look at them and enjoy their company but no conversations. LOL. The tripod is set at the edges of the river bank and you have to be careful that it does not topple over. Simply beautiful sir! Your photos inspire me to do better with mine! Thank you Conrad. I feel the same way when I see other people posting beautiful pictures of their birds in this forum. The recent posting of Tateo of those lovely Kingfishers make me want to go to Coron but it is the raining season that keeps me from going. You have a big playground around your house so keep on photographing the birds around you. You never know when you will see some unusual birds one of these days.
