It was year 2007 when I first photographed this beauty somewhere in the province of Heredia. I was happy to encounter this once again during one of the trips that Ely and I had here in CR. 7d+400mm f/5.6L, ISO 400

I think this is one of the pictures that was taken at Los Cusingos. It is similar to the Red-legged Tanager only this was has yellow legs. Also it has black feathers on its throat. Had you not told me that it is similar but different to the Red-legged Honey-creeper I would not have paid much attention to it. Anyway those two birds are really beautiful and you captured this one superbly. Well done Ariel & Mabuhay.
