During my recent trip to Tarcoles, I saw some of these beauties were just within meters from the shorline. Roseate Spoonbill 7D, 400mm f/5.6L lens, f/8.0, ISO 200 ISO 400 Wood Stork f/10.0, 1/640s, ISO 400

Those are good looking Roseate Spoonbills which can double up as a fork when used to poke into the water to capture the prey. The Wood Stork looks like a giant compared to the Heron. Well done Ariel & Mabuhay.

Wonderful captures, Ariel. In the 4th photo, the I like the contrast between the giant Wood Stork and the small heron.
