Just registered today, I am Tony Galvez. I had been wanting to go to Candaba since last Feb but couldn't find the time. Finally, I was able to go last Sat 12 April with Bong Nabong. First time to actually shoot birds in flight and at their environment. I used my Canon 70-200 F2.8L IS with a 1.4x extender which was graciously lent by Bong. I enjoyed the experience. You really have to be quiet and quick. Had difficulty initially since hard to react and shoot manually at the same time. Also the sun sometimes makes it difficult to view the view finder. Bong was kind enough to act as my tourist guide. I will post some pictures soon and I hope they are good enough.
I hope to learn and join you guys in your birding sorties.

Welcome to the forum Tony.
Just stick around and you'll learn a ton of information about birds and birding from our friends here. They are all gracious enough to share information and experiences about wildlife conservation in general and birds/birding in particular.
