Well, we met up with Birdnut Ralph in Olango, where Osawa, Doc Louie, and myself had decided to sleep over to catch the Sunrise in Olango in preparation for a full day of Birding: Sunrise at Olango Bird Sanctuary:The earliest victims - A Brown Shrike (among others in Doc Louies Thread) and ETS: Then, when the tides started to come in, we went to the Observation Post:Eurasian Curlew:Great Knots:Gull-billed Tern:Bar-tailed Godwits:A long shot (heavily cropped) of the Asiatic Dowitchers:There are still other images to be processed, but to end the story earlier: Coming back to the Observation Post:Doc Louie and RalphAn Olango Sunset @ the Sanctuary:All bird shots were taken with the Canon EOS 60D; 1/2500 sec; f/5.6 - f/7.1; F Length 400 mm; Auto ISO Set to maximum of 1600;Exposure Bias +2/3 EV. Thank you for viewing! Regards to all! Bobby K.

Thank you everyone! Wouldn't it be great to have an overnight session at Olango come April, when the birds will have started to show off their breeding plumage? :-)

That would be awesome Bobby. Please give us the best dates on the second week and we will plan a two night sortie. I think one night is not enough.
