Hi Romy. I was able to process another bird picture and I have to admit that I like the way I do it now compared to before. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for this Critique Corner where one can post their picture and be able to bite the bullet for whatever critique may come with it. More important I have learned how to adjust accordingly to be able to come out with the high level of standard that you have. I am submitting this picture of a Ruddy Kingfisher taking a bath in the rain for your critique.

I love the mood of this shot, Ely.... what with the rain streaks and beads of moisture on the feathers. The strong eye contact is a big plus too.
I detect a tiny hint of motion or camera blur, so if you still have more canvas all around, I suggest a looser cropping. This will lessen the size of the subject and increase perceived sharpness. Brightness is ok as is.

Its only now that I realize there is a motion blur. I will adjust the size accordingly. Thank you Romy for that useful piece of information.
