I'm going on a trip to Palawan next week and I was worried that Canon will not be able to service my 40D in time. The shutter of my camera had been giving me problems (I should have brought it before my Ipo Dam trips). It often fails to release even when I try different settings. It is also due for cleaning, madungis na. Because I am a member of PBPF, Joseph, the supervisor of Mandaluyong Service center gave me a discount for the replacement of the shutter. Instead of paying P1,200.00, I paid only P900 and with free cleaning. I know they have a long service queue especially after the holidays but Joseph asked when I needed it (It was a Thursday afternoon) and I said I have a trip Saturday. He said he will text me if the shutter part is available. After an hour he texted me and said he will call me if they can finish it the next day. At noon I got a text telling me it was ready for pick up. Great service! Oh I am so glad I am a member of PBPF. Happy, telyd
