Hi,
My wife's daddy sent her a new lens from abroad which is Aetna Rokunar 75-300mm.
Currently, she already has a telephoto lens for canon so she said I can use it. My camera is nikon d5000. I wonder if my camera supports this lens.
Does anybody can verify if it is?
Thanks, Edward

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply. I've already seen that post and an adapter for nikon camera and aetna lens was suggested.
Some said forget the adapter and buy a new lens. So I'm confused it I can use this lens or not :-D.
BTW, what's a T mount?
Thanks, Edward

The sheer inconvenience of purchasing the adapter and operating the lens manually to focus, meter and aperture control may make Nikkor 80-400 VR lens an attractive purchase.
Birds tend to move rather rapidly thus a lens that has a camera-controlled focus, aperture and can meter would be most ideal.
The best philippine bird photos using a Nikon camera I have seen currently have been produced by a Nikon 80-400 VR
