EXIF is on the image; I stacked 2 KENKO 300 DG 1.4X TC's for this shot: NOTE: If you look closely enough, at roughly 350 Deg. from center, there's a very small dark spot that I have not seen before in any of my moonshots. Could that be a passing satellite?

Amazing detail, Bobby! Can't seem to see the dark spot, do you have a larger crop?
BTW, watch out for the partial lunar eclipse this Saturday.

Amazing detail, Bobby! Can't seem to see the dark spot, do you have a larger crop? BTW, watch out for the partial lunar eclipse this Saturday. I will be in Bohol at that time, but I'm sure I will be able to get the shot, God willing. Here's a blow-up of the area I am interested in with a medium shot of the approximate location: It doesn't look like much, but my eyes were drawn to this particular spot when I was doing PP on the image. On second thought, it could be a plume from an asteroid hit! :-)

Wow my friend, that 600mm is really working for you! Great shots - though I must say, the photos seem too warm on my monitor. Still, those are really good captures. :-)

Looks like an area with darker terrain at the edge of Sea of Serenity. It can be seen too in this April 8, 2009 photo of mine: And a closer clook, courtesy of NASA:
