What on earth are you doing shooting with such a short lens?!!!!
Were you on your belly with this shot? Did you also have a floating/crawling blind? Love the low level.

Thanks, Tina and Ding. I shot from the car window.... this fellow just stood on an elevated mound by the roadside, giving me a better angle than when it's at the water.

This one looks like a cross-breed between a Purple Gallinule and a Common Moorhen, the Gallinule colors being dominant. The look-back and pose is well timed. Great capture as always Romy !!!
