Welcome to the forum Kennie is the ClubSnap website working? I haven't been able to get on it since a few days ago. I am curious what three lenses you own.

Hi ! Hmm Clubsnap been down for close to a week already, heard its a major breakdown, so just be patient while the moderators do soemthing about it. I am unable to sell off my old body and lens now since the website is down Have to wait. I started birding in Feb 2008, changed lens 3 times, Started with the Nikkor 80-400mm VR, then 150-500mm DG OS Bigmos, then 120 - 300mm DG Mini RPG (Light & good lens) but i think i got a bad copy lens, its soft wide open at 300mm 2.8, and even so much worst at 600mm with a DG TC., i even stopped birding for a while due to that that lens softness with/without TC, no point, right? now the Sigmonster 300-800mm DG version. He ! Super sharp wide open, like what Romy said, need to Tame it to get sharp shots, as with all Long lens. Luckily, i mastered long lens technique with the 120-300mm lens and the Bigmos 150-500mm , i just took about 2 weeks to be tame the Sigmonster. cheers
