Spotted Wood Kingfisher-Villa Escudero Canon 40D 300mm F4L ISO 400 0.006 sec (1/160) 0.004 sec (1/250) It is becoming a habit. There he was again perched nicely when I arrived VE. What a welcome! This time, he moved a very short distance- ever present from mid-morning to sundown, enjoying my company ;D . The feeling was mutual. I was very well entertained. Excellent co-host! Mela, maraming salamat po. The gracious Suprema of VE.

I like your friend who always show up when you are there. I have been there twice this year and never saw him. Maybe I was to busy with Marikit and Malakas. Maybe next time I will see Supremo. I also like your friend Suprema. She is always very supportive of Birdwatchers and Bird Photographers. With friends like them Villa Escudero is always a nice place to go to. Your captures of the Supremo shows how well you can take photographs. Well done Lyd. Mabuhay.

Everyone, thank you for the encouraging words. You should all go to VE and get a better shot of this natural treasure. VE is really a place that promotes not only the cultural heritage but also our natural heritage.
How come nobody commented about the Suprema perched nicely on a bench, very lady like, a rare occurence? Didn't you recognize her? :olyd

Wonderful capture Telyds, although the second photo is the top choice, hands down, I like the first photo even better because of the unique pose. Congrats Telyds, keeps getting better everytime.

Congratulations Telyds!
I want to go to VE!!! I was there around September last year with my mom's friends. I didn't have the chance to bird though because I was tasked to take pictures of the group while they were touring the place.
Any one going anytime soon? Do they have a birding tour package?
