Hello. Ralf Nabong here. It's my first post in this forum and I would like to introduce myself to everyone. We were fortunate enough to be invited by Mr. Rey Sta Ana last Feb. 2 to join their trek to Candaba for wildlife and bird photography. I must admit that the experience gave me and my daughter a different high in photography. So much so that two weeks after, we were again in Candaba with my wife in tow spending an even more rewarding experience because of sheer number of birds that we photographed that day. Thanks to Rey and Rodell for inviting us again. Here are some samples (acceptable , I hope) taken during our last trip. taken with a 40D and a 70-200 f/4 IS L +1.4TC lens.

Hey, Ralf! That's exactly how I went to Candaba for the first time and got hooked to birding: with a 70-200 lens.
Now you're hooked, too!

Welcome to the birdnut house, Ralf!
Nice first photos posted..... with the 40D's pixel density, a 70-200 + 1.4x can be a decent birding length already.
