wow! is that a blue dragon? nice! Yes it's a blue dragonfly. I went to Hardin ng Rosas to try my luck with birds but soon realized my 250mm is way short for birds. ;D Luckily the field is blessed with butterflies and dragonflies. Really have to get myself a birding lens soon. Thanks April.

I think the female is already laying the eggs, for the male to take care of? Never seen it before too. If only I have a second chance to make a better capture, I would have done it.

Went to UPD last Saturday afternoon, but had no luck getting a good bird capture. Here's a picture of a dragonfly I took while I waited in the afternoon, only to be greeted by a heavy pour of rain. 100% Crop PS: Thanks to Prof. Mando for the orientation on the area.
