Woo Hoooo FINALLY got to take photos of this beautiful bird too. After spending a leisurely morning with other WBCP members and bird watching newbies at the coastal lagoon, Tonji, Sylvia, Wency and I decided to go to infomax to look at the "goodies" that they have at that store. While hanging around and testing a few things, JP decided to give Tonji a call and the rest is history.... off we went to Palay-palay to look for this "rare migrant". Thank you JP for the ride Blue-and-White Flycatcher male40D+500mm ; f/4.5 ; ISO 200 ; 1/500 ; Tripod 40D+500mm ; f/4 ; ISO 200 ; 1/160 ; Tripod Please CLICK HERE to see more photos

Blue-and-White Flycatcher male40D+500mm ; f/4.5 ; ISO 200 ; 1/500 ; Tripod If only those running for government office can stand tall like this flycatcher- with dignity and pride... with hope in its bearing... haaaay With our kind of politics, I have more hope with the birds. When they poo, they reforest. They understand the environment more than many gov't. and NGO officers who call themselves environmentalists. I'd like to post this in a major daily but then, the bird collectors may swarm Palay-palay and catch them. Haaay naku, ulit! My idol Tins, I love this shot! I will watch out for more. telyds.

Your pictures are nicely exposed Ate Tina. So hard to do in the shadows and light with a blue and white bird. Congrats on the lifer! Next trip? Hehe, keep your batteries charged and you bag packed.

Thanks so much Bobby and William. Naku William, whenever i go on a sortie now, I get so drained out from carrying my tripod and gear that I fall asleep in the car even if I don't want to sleep Should I sell this lens or not, THAT is the BIG question
