There are so many fine photos posted this week, and it was quite tough to choose the FBPOTW. This rendition of the RKFP shows the endemic bird's field mark (red keel, of course) very well. In addition, there are nice eye contact, good detail, just right defocusing of the extraneous elements courtesy of the wide open 500 f4, and the natural framing of the branchlets/leaves.

Wow thanks Romy. Its always a surprise getting a FBPW. The other times had to find the birds this time it was JP who guided us like a pro. Thanks JP.
