Dear All:
Spotted yesterday the yellow-breasted fruit dove at U.P. earlier spotted by Lala and Des. It seems it is one of two individuals. The other one has already died from some injury, probably from flying into one of the windows of the nearby buildings. It is a 100 % at around early in the morning or late in the afternoon. It is up the fruiting fig tree we have been visiting. The guards may check you out, tell them you are my visitor. Cheers!
Sincerely Yours,
propjerry

Wow.... thanks for the heads up, Prop.... I'll have to check this out soon, as the only photo I have of this is an immature at Mt. Makiling... ;D To those who wish to know the exact location, please email/PM/text Prop privately. Romy

Romy, Got a quick reply from propjerry and he is going to go birding with me and Ken at UP Dilliman hopefully on the Feb. 23. I'm so thrilled to be part of this happy bunch. Be glad to show the gang some hot spots in Oregon. We have the rugged Oregon coast for shorebirds, Sauvie Island for Bald Eagles, Ibises and the Malhuer wildlife refuge in Burns, Oregon, where we usually see migrating birds in May. . But need time to add Phil. birds in my list. Ciao, STweedty
