Another 3 species added to the Database courtesy of ReySanta Ana Philippine Kingfisher ( Ceyx melanurus) 457/614Oriental Cuckoo Cuculus saturatus[/img] Philippine Fairy-bluebird ( Irena cyanogaster) Thanks Rey for this contributions!! The database count is upgraded again to 457/614 species. A staggering 74.4%

I think Adri is correct. Rey Sta. Ana has another photograph of the Philippine fairy bluebird taken in Aurora Province. He might have mixed-up the two.

I think Adri is correct. Rey Sta. Ana has another photograph of the Philippine fairy bluebird taken in Aurora Province. He might have mixed-up the two. @neon I initially posted this as the Philippine Fairy Bluebird (that's why the wrong label) and made the corrections after Trinket made the correct ID. At any rate, I think we already have the Philippine Specie but the Asian Fairy Bluebird which is this photo is the one that is not yet in the database. Thanks guys.

Wooohoooo!!! Thanks to Plain Idol Tina who uphold her "bird magnet" label!! We just passed the 75% barrier!! We have now at 75.1% of the listed Philippine Bird species, and all were captured in habitat or in the wild!! Lets celebrate it with a photographic field guide!!! Wooohooo!! Great Slaty Woodpecker ( Mulleripicus pulverulentus) male & female 460/614Black-backed Kingfisher Formerly ( Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher) ( Ceyx erithacus) 461/614Will include the whistling duck and watercock to the collection photos as well as they are beautiful captures and good representative photos of the species.
