Hi fellow birdnuts, Welcome to the Critique Corner. This is a sub-board where any PBPF member may post bird photos for candid, constructive critique by the Sigmonster Tamer. This is where I intend to share approaches and techniques in capture and processing of bird photos. Posting of comments/critiques by others is not allowed, only the poster who's requesting critique may post follow up/clarificatory questions in his/her thread. Some posting rules: 1. I'll give critiques and suggestions in a constructive but candid manner, and a spade will be called a spade. I'll always try to indicate if my suggestion is a universal approach, or if it's a subjective point and may be left to individual taste. 2. The poster should indicate the purpose of the photo - whether print or web display. 3. The poster should post two versions of the photo, as well as the shooting data: First - the original, uncropped photo straight from the camera (in case of jpeg capture), or a jpeg straight from RAW conversion, resized to say 1200x800. Second - the finished photo as cropped and processed by the poster. 4. The poster should indicate which specific parameter(s) he/she wants the critique concentrated on (composition, image quality, etc.). Looking forward to your photos for critique. Romy
