K IIAs I was about to leave the wetlands after a productive sortie several weeks ago, I noticed the beautiful bluish sky and yelowish-orange and reddish cast on the clouds and reflection on the ponds. Quickly changed my lens and started shooting. Here's one image I took of the opportunity. Thank you for viewing. 1DMKII EF 17-40 @ 17mm f22 1/60

Wow... amazing colors, Reyno. Was that with the 17-40L? Yes, a beautiful sunset is a great way to wrap up a productive sortie, wish it happens more often for us... Romy

Thanks Romy.
Got the 17-40L about a month ago as I intended to venture into landscapes. This is a fine piece of glass and well suited for the MK series bodies. Not to mention being the lowest priced L lens in its category.
