This would be a better alternative to the yahoo groups. Plus, messages gets posted immediately whereas, in the yahoo groups, it sometimes takes hours before the message gets posted.

Wahoo!
I've been thinking for the longest time why we can't develop something in this format and thought may be a limitation of yahoo.
I hope we can migrate to this format soon!
As for suggestions, I always liked the structure and various bells and whistles of the DPreview forums (fora?). I like the idea of nested messages so responses to specific subthreads are easily traceable.
But, what the heck. This is perfect for now.

Ding, the PBP yahoo group will be maintained simultaneous with this one in the meantime. Let's see how the traffic goes, if full migration is merited. We've already maxed out the features of our new forums, but big thanks to ProBoards, all these come in free... Romy

Love your logos, Eric! Perhaps it's time to conceptualize and finalize our PBP logo? Romy Was thinking of suggesting that when I made the sig but cowered on the thought that this might be an "informal" group. But since, the Master himself said so, I second the motion!!!Calling all artistic members!Maybe you can help Sir Romy with some design ideas. ;D

Hehe... I'm clueless in designing logos. How about opening a thread on logo design contest, Eric? You can propose the mechanics and duration, and when these are ok with the members, let's start the contest. We might be able to cobble together a nice prize. * ;D Romy *Note to self - keep the Sigmonster out of sight, under lock and key... Love your logos, Eric! I'm not surprised Romy put this in motion. I love forums since it's a much easier way of preserving information that will always be helpful to members of the community.
