To maintain the lay-out of our boards, I have put in a maximum size of images to be embedded - 1200 pixels wide and 2000 pixels high.
You can still embed images with dimensions larger than the limits. However, these will be automatically resized to conform with the allowable dimensions. How much the image is reduced (%) is indicated on top of the resized photo. The image in its original size may be viewed in another window by clicking on the provided link.
Even with this size limit, our forum still has one of the largest allowable image dimensions I've seen on online forums.
