Hi to all! The first time I saw the pics, I just fell in love! I'm Morbz from Naga City, Philippines and I live beside a ricefield full of birds of all sizes and shapes^_^ Sometimes I see rare seabirds(I think those are terns that fly above farmers when they are preparing to plant the rice). I want to be a nature photographer, though I really dont have any equips(sigh). But still I grab my digicam and take some shots^_^ Anyway, more power to you all and to this site. Let's protect the environment!

Welcome Morbz. Naga is a beautiful place. I have been to Mt. Isarog butterfly watching and I can say that it is one of the best forest reserves I have been... so many waterfalls. Yes, there are many water birds also. If you go to the www.birdwatchers.ph, they have reports from Bicol - long list. Yes, we need to care for the environment. Birdwatching is one way to make people aware, appreciate and care for God's creation. tely:Ds

BTW, I had laing for dinner last night, and breakfast and lunch today. My neighbor is from Bicol and she prepares the best version of this Bicol specialty I've tasted to date. Everytime she gives me some, I eat nothing but this thing with my rice till the dish is gone. I usually fry some dried fish to go with it.
Laing must be the best accompaniment to rice ever invented..... next to papaitang kambing, of course. ;D ;D ;D
