I just got a book from Fully Booked- Field Guide to the Birds of South East Asia by Craig Robson. (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar. Illustrations are excellent. The size of the birds are well scaled. Most of the birds are similar to what are found here. Price (P1,399.00). It's a good cross reference where KG fails to confirm the ID. Try to look for the Photographic Guide to South East Asian Birds also. (P1,119) which includes some Philippine birds. It's a photographic guide so it is very limited but very well presented (published in Singapore) by David Carpentier (not sure if I got that right). I wanted to get it, too, to encourage you guys to come out with the Photographic guide of Philippine birds. Maybe in my next visit to FB. But honestly, I did not get it because I want to spend my good money for a local publication;D. On the other hand, I was/am so tempted so you guys can be inspired to start working for our very own guide. Sigue na...please. lyd The field guide- cover and sample pages

The size of the birds are well scaled. Most of the birds I have The Field Guide to the Birds of Thailand by the same author. It is a great help in ID especially of the shorebirds that are also ranging here. I highly recommend this book as well ;D Cheers, Neon
