not sure I have seen one either - technically a "juvenile" this one. This one hasn't been hatched too long and like most Rails - they are nidifugous (means they don't hang around in a nest once hatched).

Hi Steve, Up to now, I'm still confused on the life stages of a bird, from egghood to being nestling to being immature up to juve/sub-adult. Would love to be enlightened on this.... when is a bird an imm., juvenile or sub-adult? Romy
