I was chatting with JP Carino at Makiling when suddenly this raptor peched on a dead tree branch, not very far from us. I believe this was the first time I got an adult of this species, all my previous shots were of immatures. Chinese Goshawk (Accipiter soloensis, adult) - 40D + 500 f4 IS + 1.4x, 1/100 sec, ISO 800, f/5.6, tripod/gimbal head, same settings for both: Romy

Coolness! Another beauty - but what can we expect from the master? :-)
