Looks like the Crested Goshawk is going to have a big meal in the days to come. I like the fourth picture best with the flies on the Goshawk and looking at you as if you are going to steal his food. Heh heh heh. Well done Tateo. Mabuhay.

WOW!!! It must have been an exhilarating experience watching this action live!
All pictures are awesome but the fourth one really stands out for me as it shows some flies and gives an excellent perspective of this raptor's size. Awesome set sir! Just awesome! Thank you for sharing

Wow, awesome series, Tateo! You must have great will power to kept your cool and still shot in front of such spectacle. I once went to shot a peregrine falcon and when it started diving for a pigeon I just watched in awe and forgot what I was holding and strapped on my neck for several hours already. ;D Congrats for nailing a seldom seen event and documenting it!

Love this series! You can actually feel the bird's protectiveness over its kill. What a moment to capture. Congratulations!

Great series Tateo! Although the prey is not in the first photo, that must have been taken after the kill. I can see bloody feathers on the raptor's claws.

Excellent set Tateo. I like the angle of captures and the head turn of the goshawk.
Hope to post other shots of these encounter with the winged forest predator soon. I'm still way behind post-processing some photos taken in the past (Bislig and then this bohol trip).
Thanks for sharing the experience...
