Ooooh, ganda! I have never seen nor know of any photo of the female of this species before. Amazing catch Nestor! Usually the males are more visible because they defend territory while the female just sits quietly. The brow of the male also does not go as far back as the nape as on this female. Pm me also please. BTW, the Negros variant may be split as a separate species according to Nigel Collar.

Huuuwooooooooow! What a shot. Everytime, I could only hear this fella and never ever got an opportunity to shoot it. NOt even lift my cam to make a shot. Must have been a great feeling nailing this one on a perfect pose and light. Magnifico!
